Change lives
onchain.
Devcon is coming to India for the first time. Thousands of students in Gujarat are one train ride away, and most can't afford the ticket. $65 sends one of them to Devcon week in Mumbai, with a return train and a bed for 6 nights. We're sending 1,000.

Questions, answered.
Do I need to connect my wallet?
No, never. This site will never ask you to connect a wallet, sign a message or approve anything. Pick an amount, tap "Get payment details", then copy the address or scan the QR code from your own wallet or exchange. If anything ever asks you to connect a wallet in our name, it's a scam.
Why is the amount slightly odd, like 65.37 USDC?
The extra cents are a tag that's unique to you. When exactly that amount lands in our wallet, the page spots it by itself, checks it on the blockchain and makes your flex card. The tag goes to the fund too. If you send a different amount or from an exchange, just paste your transaction hash instead.
How do I get my flex card?
Only by actually donating. The card is made after your transaction is found and verified on the blockchain, it shows how many students you sent, and it carries a QR code so anyone can check it's real at change.web3events.in/v.
How do I know the money goes to students?
Every booking and every rupee spent is posted on @web3_events on X. Each student we send posts a thank-you post or video, and every $1,000+ donor is named in the cohort video.
Which coins can I send?
EVM: USDC, USDT, ETH (or POL on Polygon) on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism or Polygon. Same address on all five. Solana: USDC, USDT or SOL. Bitcoin: BTC. Tron: USDT (TRC-20) or TRX. Other tokens aren't counted. USDC and USDT are spotted automatically everywhere; for ETH or POL, paste your transaction hash after sending.
Is my amount public?
Not on this site. The leaderboard only shows rank. Your flex card shows how many students you sent, and you choose whether to share it. Blockchains are public, so anyone who knows your wallet address can look it up.
How do I get on the leaderboard or the billboard?
After your donation is verified, add your name (and X handle). Every name is reviewed before it appears. For the $1,000+ billboard, email your logo and transaction hash to admin@web3events.in. The billboard is shared by every $1,000+ brand, and the more you give, the bigger your logo.
Who are the students and how are they picked?
Students from colleges across Gujarat, selected through campus blockchain clubs and community partners. Need-based priority, and we aim for half the seats to go to women. Cohorts of about 40 travel together with a volunteer lead and a 24/7 helpline.
Does $65 include event tickets?
No. $65 covers the return train, six nights' stay and local commute. Event access comes through each event's student and builder programmes, which we coordinate with the organisers.
What if you raise more, or less, than $65,000?
Every $65 is one confirmed seat, booked in the order donations arrive. Anything above the goal pays for meals during the week and future cohorts. We'll post exactly where it went.
Is it tax-deductible?
No. Crypto donations to this campaign are not tax-deductible.
